What is the difference between hand stamping & engraving?

Theta Jewellery is lovingly hand stamped. Each letter or character is stamped individually using a steel die and a hammer. Spacing, alignment and depth of print differs with each strike of the hammer making each piece of jewellery quirky and unique. If you like the precision, symmetry & perfection of an engraving machine, this rustic, handmade technique probably isn’t for you… (but you’d probably like this more).

What is the best way to care for my piece of Theta Jewellery?

My jewellery pieces are made from stainless steel combined with lead and nickel free charms and semi precious gemstones. Stainless steel jewellery is pretty indestructible and can be worn daily. Some pieces include charms or silver plated catches and are designed for occasional wear. The stamped letters are filled in with a black permanent marker. If this wears off through exposure to water, you can easily fill them in again with a permanent marker. A baby wipe is great for removing any extra pen marks around the letters. The care instructions apply to all pieces. Avoid contact with perfume and body lotions – let them fully dry before wearing jewellery Avoid showering or swimming while wearing your jewellery Do not wear jewellery while exercising Avoid contact with hard surfaces; store in a soft pouch or velvet lined jewellery box Do not use any harsh cleansers or abrasive cleaners Clean jewellery with soapy water, rinse fully after cleaning and dry thoroughly before wearing or storing Invest in a quality silver jewellery polishing cloth, they are impregnated with cleaning chemicals and easily restore shine My jewellery is handmade in an environment of positive vibes. It is completely unique, each piece will have it’s own unique shape and finish, many pieces are not quite symmetrical and some will be stamped more heavily than others, however these purposeful imperfections ensure everything I make is perfect for the recipient.

What is Theta Healing?

The energy vibration of all our jewellery is intentionally set by using the Theta Healing technique. Theta Healing is a form of energy healing, helping to clear the body and mind of any limiting blocks and obstacles. Everyone has a set of beliefs that influences every part of their life. Some beliefs are conscious and some are held at a subconscious level. Many of the beliefs that we hold are limiting us from attaining our full potential. Theta Healing is a powerful way to identify and change limiting beliefs into more empowering beliefs. The Theta Technique can be used to clear and set the intention of metals and gemstones. You can find out more about the Theta Healing Technique at www.thetahealing.co.uk

What happens if there is a spelling mistake on my jewellery?

Just let me know and I will replace it for you, it doesn’t matter if you have requested an incorrect spelling when you ordered or if I have made a mistake (rare, but I am human) – I will replace it for you as soon as I can so you are delighted with your jewellery.

Can you stamp on the back?

No. The stamping process makes a slight impression on the back of the jewellery so stamping on the back would ruin the look of the front of your piece of jewellery. All my jewellery is personalised with a hammer and individual metal stamps. The front of the jewellery is highly polished and the back is not meant to be displayed as it is a matt finish with the faint impression of the stamps from where the letters have been stamped on the metal block.
